This picture is on the front of a 'collector card' from a series called 'Picture pop '73.Mike tells me that he doesn't remember where or when this was taken, but he thinks they are performing 10538 Overture. If anyone knows any more about it,please let me know.
The back of the above card.
Me and Mike went to see a Woody gig in Reading back in Dec 1999.This is us in the pub before the gig,Mike and his sons are big fans of Roy
Well you often see photos of Jeff Lynne with ex Beatles, but some of you may not have seen this one of Roy with Paul McCartney,George Martin and Paul's brother, Mike McGear (Of The Scaffold and Lily The Pink Fame!)
This picture was taken at a party after a Helicopters gig at The Venue in London in 1982 (I think) This is very nearly The Move in the 80s (With me on drums) From left to right Carl,Roy,Me and .........would you believe......Rick Price !
You don't see many pictures of Move Bass player Ace Kefford these days so it was good to see him featured in the August 2000 issue of 'Record Buyer and Music collector'.In it he was asked to list his favourite 10 'Death Discs'.His choice included,'Hey Joe' by The Jimmy Hendrix Experience,'Leader of the pack' by the Shangri-Las,Bob Dylan's 'Lenny Bruce is dead',and The Move's "Night of fear".
This picture of Ace is from 1994 and is taken from the July issue of Record Collector, which featured an interview with him
And here he is in a photo from the New Musical Express photo archives dated April 1967
And in the original line up of The Move
This great shot is used on the front cover of a French album called "Something Else From The Move"
